I am an experienced professional International Physical Education Teacher/Athletic Director and Coach, from a variety of curriculums, culture, language, public to private schools. I lived and taught in seven countries while visiting many others. I continuously communicate with the administration, for a consistent, methodical implementation for the program throughout all stages of development to the result. I started new programs, established new facilities, renewed facilities, have written curriculum, and improved existing programs.

     I thrive to continuously work within the local settings, and local vendors, including those of different languages/cultures. With strong relationship building attitude and a positive approach, diverse environments are not barriers but are advantages for me. Schools and organizations I am involved with professionally, benefit from my personal/professional relationships, and these have developed into friendships for me, all over the world. I attempt to enlist local resources, whenever possible.

     My professional goals and objectives are to improve the teaching profession and to encourage new teachers to pursue excellence. I supervised over 16 student/pre-professionals in my career, was involved with teacher training in many of my international teaching posts, in one manner or another. As either Head of Department, Athletic Director, and teacher, coach or all the mentioned.  I adapt quickly, to establish better and efficient routines. I am transparent in relating to business sectors for the benefit of the organizations. This dynamic, produces productive programs for the health and safety of client or student, in the community.

     My coaching experiences vary as well. My primary interests are basketball, and football/soccer. Badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and other alternative games, are some of my other coaching experiences and interests. I am a certified coach in the USA and a licensed sports club basketball coach in Turkey.

    

     I am a lifetime member of ICHPER-SD and a certified data instructor/data contributor for international fitness norms.

 

          I have other experiences and am open to share. To enjoy life, one must live it, travel it, learn it, and experience it. Traveling around the world throughout my career, I have a global perspective, on culture, on language, traditions, and a learning educational outlook that is proven not just different, but better.

     Whether local, national, or international in scope, I strive to engage the community with the school in a healthy manner. Developing these programs for a single person department, or for a more complex teacher number of physical educators, is something that I truly enjoy. I have taken several courses, stayed current, applied technology whenever possible, then transfer this to enable students/clients, of the school and community at large, to have a meaningful healthy, informative physical education experience with positive results.

 

     My experiences, background, education, along with my travels, give me what I offer and design programs with; the objective to succeed with results, for the 21st century.
